| lasting effects of neuropathy |
| I'm Type 2 and though I have started an exercise regimen of walking daily and I'm watching calories and carbs, I am seeing the lower half of my shins become darker and I know it is because of the high blood sugar.
If I begin medication and manage to get my numbers under control, will the darkness caused by neuropathy eventually go away or is the discoloration permanent? |

If you get your numbers under control, and get the proper exercise, your circulation in your shins will get better in the darkness should disappear. The sooner you do this, the better chance you have of getting the color back to normal, if you wait too long, it will be permanent.I waited too long, mine is permanent, there seems to be nothing I can do to correct this condition, but I'm still trying. |

Best thing that works for low circulation leg and foot problems is UV therapy, cheapest best version is 30 minutes a day sun tan. Will note improvement in as little as 3 days...high noon best time.
$65 dollar uv
pro treatments are called Anodyne Treatments.
Medicare will pay for some. Sun far better and is free. |

Best way to get your blood sugar under control is cut out, sugar, flour, fruit and no cooked underground veggies. Never drink food again. |
